Switch: SciresM shows homebrew running on 5.0.1, shares progress on Atmosphere

Hacker SciresM has shared progress on the upcoming Custom Firmware for the Nintendo Switch, Atmosphere.
In one of his recent tweets, the developer showcases the Homebrew Loader running on firmware 5.0.1, and runs a hello world from the loader’s menu. It appears SciresM got Atmosphere to load the “vulnerable” version of the module that was used for the 3.0.0 exploits.
Atmosphere is making visible progress almost on a daily basis right now, with SciresM stating recently that Homebrew should soon be “in a great place”.
The switch scene has been looking forward to a stable release of the upcoming CFW, since the day the Nintendo switch was fully hacked a few weeks ago. SciresM has previously said Atmosphere will be usable for end users by Summer this year.
As a reminder, Atmosphere is open source and anyone can give it a try by downloading the source on the project’s github.
